True, you don't see bikers in London - they just slide alongside, knock your mirror off and disappear into the traffic to deliver more pizzas!

Good grief have you not retired yet ??

I retired over 20 years ago. It was great, until I suddenly realised my bank balance was going down and my pension wasn't filling it up again - so 20 years ago I started working as a courier. It hasn't made me a profit, but it has kept me ticking over enough to have a holiday every year. There are some people who actually do make a living from it, but that's not subbies like me.

I've done it all... from having my own customers, to subbing, back to own customers, NOW i have my own customers AND a bit of subbing when quiet......
